Bavaria World Darts Trophy Draw & Information

COLIN LLOYD will meet Peter Manley in the opening game of the Bavaria World Darts Trophy on Saturday 2 September, while Raymond van Barneveld takes on Dutch wonderkid Michael van Gerwen.

Lloyd, the current world number one and finalist in May's Topic International Darts League, will meet World Championship runner-up Manley in the best-of-five-set first round.

The tournament is run in a knockout format over nine days in Utrecht, and also features PDC stars Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld and Ronnie Baxter.

Four-time World Champion van Barneveld, the IDL winner earlier this year, will clash once more against van Gerwen in the game of the first round.

Taylor meets Denmark's Brian Sorensen, and he could meet either Manley or Lloyd in the quarter-finals.

Baxter has a first round date with Paul Hogan, and would meet either Martin Atkins or Paul Hanvidge in round two.

Defending champion Gary Robson is in the same quarter of the draw as van Barneveld, and he will face Australian Simon Whitlock in round one.
