RONNIE BAXTER booked his place in the second round of the Topic International Darts League on Monday night.
The world number three, who lost his opening match on Saturday, progressed to the last 16 on leg difference after winning his final group game 6-4 against Niels de Ruiter.
He will meet fellow PDC stars Raymond van Barneveld and Roland Scholten in the next phase, after qualifying from second place in his group to join the Dutch duo and Paul Hogan.
Jelle Klaasen and Shaun Greatbatch joined Phil Taylor and Colin Lloyd in Group J for the second round, which is again in a round-robin format.
The length of matches increases to the best of 13 legs in the second round, which begins on Tuesday night.
