THE entry list for the Bobby Bourn Memorial Players Championship.
THE 2009 PDC Pro Tour will begin on Saturday with a double-header weekend at the Doncaster Dome.
Saturday will see the Bobby Bourn Memorial Players Championship take place, offering £30,000 prize money, with £6,000 to the winner.
A total of 142 players will compete in the Bobby Bourn Memorial Players Championship, a tournament named in memory of the late PDC Players' Marshall which has previously been held in Blackpool.
Phil Taylor - the winner of the event in all six previous stagings - misses this tournament, while Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade will also not be playing in Doncaster, and Roland Scholten's ongoing shoulder injury keeps him sidelined.
All Players Championship events will now be held over the best of 11 legs, while the format for the draw of the tournament has also been amended.
The draw will be finalised at the close of registration, under new guidelines agreed between the PDC and PDPA.
There will be 16 seeds in all Players Championship events. The next ranked 16 players in attendance after these seeds will be drawn at random with one to each seed's board.
These seedings and random applications will be determined at the closing time for registration, at 11.45am on the day of the tournament, or earlier if all players concerned are in attendance.
The Bobby Bourn Memorial Players Championship will begin at 12pm.
