Fleet Wins Prospect AGP Event

ANTHONY FLEET has won the latest Australian Grand Prix tournament at Prospect, NSW at the weekend, the Jack Daniels Open.

Fleet defeated Brian Roach in the final to win $2,000 and ten all-important AGP ranking points in the race for a place in the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.

He included two legs of 15 darts and two of 16 darts in seeing off Roach 6-0, averaging 29.2 in the final.

Fleet now shares the lead at the top of the AGP rankings, following three events, with Russell Stewart and Barry Jouannet Jnr, who reached the semi-finals at Prospect.
