TONY HUTCHINSON has won the Hampshire County play-off to earn a spot in the 2010 UK Open.
The Professional Darts Corporation recently announced that the eight counties who voted to discuss the PDC's offer to buy the BDO in more detail would receive a place in the Preliminary Round of the UK Open.
Hampshire held a knockout event for their members last weekend, with Hutchinson defeating Nillson Pritchard 6-4 in the final.
He defeated Jason Cook, Tony Moore and Charlie Jackson to reach the semi-finals, where he was a 5-1 winner against Andy Mitchell.
Pritchard took a 2-0 lead with finishes of 161 and 121 in the final, before Hutchinson hit back to level at four-all before finishing the stronger to win the final two legs and a place in the UK Open this June.
