PLAYERS can now enter the ITV Wildcard Qualifier for the 2009 PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts.
The ITV Wildcard Qualifiers gives the chance for ANY darts player to win a spot in November's PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts - against the likes of Phil Taylor, James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld and Ted Hankey.
This year's knockout event will be held on Friday November 6 at the Magnum Centre in Irvine and is expected to again attract in excess of 200 players.
Open to both PDPA members and non-members, entry costs £25 and is available via the PDC Online Entry System available at this link.
Chris Mason and Kevin McDine won a place in the inaugural Grand Slam of Darts in 2007, with McDine going on to reach the semi-finals - which earned him a two-year invitation to the subsequent events.
Wes Newton was the ITV Wildcard Qualifier's winner 12 months ago, while a shortfall in players qualifying from major tournaments meant that runner-up Colin McGarry and third-placed Alan Tabern also competed in the Grand Slam of Darts.
