Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship - Preliminary Round Draw

ANASTASIA DOBROMYSLOVA has drawn Holland's Remco van Eijden in the preliminary round of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.

The Russian star will make her debut in the tournament later this month after opting to move onto the PDC circuit full-time.

She has been handed a tough opening draw in the World Championship, taking on Dutch qualifier Remco van Eijden, who has previous televised experience in the Lakeside Championship and World Darts Trophy.

China's Shi Yongsheng, who defeated Indian Ashfaque Sayed in the preliminary round last year, will meet Austria's Hannes Schnier - the GDC number two - this time around.

American David Fatum, a semi-finalist at the US Open this year, will face Irish Matchplay winner Shane O'Connor, while Finnish Pro-Dart Champion Marko Kantele drew Philippines champion Lourence Ilagan.

Charles Losper, the South African Open winner this year, meets the Caribbean & South American Masters champion Sudesh Fitzgerald.

The final game sees two former qualifiers, New Zealand's Warren French and Japan's Akihiro Nagakawa, come head-to-head.

The preliminary round matches will be played across the opening six sessions of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.

The draw for the preliminary round of the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship was made on Monday morning by PDPA Board members Peter Manley and Chris Mason with PDC Tournament Director Tommy Cox.

The first round draw will be made live on Sky Sports News at 2.30pm on Monday.
