PETER MANLEY has been awarded the final place reserved for PDC players in September's Bavaria World Darts Trophy.

Manley held on to fourth place in the PDC world rankings at the PartyPoker.net Las Vegas Desert Classic to ensure that he joins other leading players in being invited to the tournament.

Phil Taylor, Colin Lloyd, Ronnie Baxter and Raymond van Barneveld have also been invited into the event, which is being held from 2-10 September in the Vechtsebanen in Utrecht, Holland.

The draw for the tournament will be made on 21 July.

Raymond Van Barneveld saw off Colin Lloyd to win the Topic International Darts League in May when the PDC stars last visited the Netherlands.
