BILL DAVIS, Chris White and Brad Wethington will contest the semi-finals of the North American Darts Championship on Saturday.
A field of 242 players for the inaugural tournament were whittled down to the last four at the Mohegan Sun Casino on Friday night.
World Champion John Part was knocked out in the third round of the tournament, losing 4-3 to Buddy Lessig, while number two seed Gerry Convery was eliminated in the second round, going down 4-1 to Paul Lim.
However, there was joy for Davis, who backed up his qualification for the last 16 of the PartyPoker.net PDC US Open with more success in the NADC.
He gained the upper hand against David Fatum - who he plays on stage on Saturday afternoon - with a 4-0 win in the third round, a victory which was followed by wins over Paul Bolduc, Dan Lauby and John Kuczynski to reach the semi-finals.
Davis will face Darin Young in the semi-finals, following the left-hander's 4-3 win over Dave Brocksmith in the quarter-finals, producing a 15-darter to win the deciding leg.
Young, the number eight seed, also overcame 1994 World Matchplay winner Larry Butler and Robert Miske to reach the last four.
The other semi-final sees Chris White face Brad Wethington.
Wethington knocked out Ray Carver, currently the leading American in the PDC Order of Merit with a 4-3 win in the last 16 before whitewashing Joe Chaney to reach the semis.
White, meanwhile, was a 4-3 winner against Dave Cameron in his quarter-final, following earlier wins over Mark Prutchick, Jerry Hall, Isen Veljic, Tim O'Gorman and Tim Grossman.
