PDC Heads Back To Holland

SATURDAY'S Open Hotel Blackwater, which is being staged at the Darts Club Hasselt in Holland, gives players a final chance to fine tune their preparations for the Sky Bet World Grand Prix.

The new tournament holds Category One ranking status within the PDC, and will see most of the big names travel across the Channel.

The likes of Ronnie Baxter, Peter Manley, Wayne Mardle and Roland Scholten will all take part in the tournament, with just over a week remaining before the start of the World Grand Prix.

Wes Newton, who lost out in the first round at The Bob Anderson Classic last weekend on his return from a broken collarbone, will also be getting vital match practice ahead of the visit to Ireland.

Other names to watch out for are Henk Westerhof, who hit a nine-dart leg at the Open Oust Nederland recently, and reigning Open Holland champion Erwin Extercatte (pictured).
