TICKETS for the Players Championship Finals will go on sale on Monday November 24 to DartsTV annual subscribers.
The Players Championship Finals will be held at the Circus Tavern, Purfleet from Friday January 30-Sunday February 1 2009, featuring the top 32 players from Players Championship events held this year.
Culminating in the final on Sunday February 1, the tournament will be played over six sessions as the PDC return to the Circus Tavern, the former home of the World Championship.
Phil Taylor, who won 11 Players Championships this year, will be the number one seed and meets Michael van Gerwen in round one, after the Dutch youngster took 32nd place in the Players Championship Order of Merit ahead of Matt Clark.
James Wade, who won three events and was also a runner-up on three occasions, meets Steve Beaton, while number three seed Alan Tabern opens against Adrian Lewis.
The first round will be played over two sessions on Friday January 30, with the second round on Saturday afternoon, quarter-finals on Saturday evening, semi-finals on Sunday afternoon and the final on Sunday night.
Tickets go on sale on Monday to annual subscribers to DartsTV, who can purchase a maximum of six tickets per session.
This priority sale offer is open only to annual subscribers to DartsTV, who are active members at midnight on Friday November 21.
