There were wins for Steve Beaton, Dennis Priestley, Colin Lloyd and Wayne Mardle in the second round of the Sky Bet World Grand Prix on Wednesday.

Beaton will now take on defending champion Lloyd in the quarter-finals on Friday, while in-form Mardle will face rejuvanated Priestley.

The remaining second round games will take place on Thursday, beginning at 6pm with Peter Manley v John Magowan.
