South African Masters

THE PDC will not be staging the South African Masters in 2010.

The South African Masters, held at the Emperors Palace Casino in Johannesburg, has been staged for the past three years and won on each occasion by Phil Taylor.

The PDC will still hold the PDC South African Open, an event for South African players run ahead of the South African Masters where the winner qualifies for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.

The date and venue for the PDC South African Open is still being finalised and details will be announced in due course.

Wynand Havenga was the inaugural winner in 2006, with Charles Losper then taking victory in the following two years and Les Francis being the 2009 PDC South African Open champion.
