RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD and John Kuczynski won the World Darts Challenge 14-11 against Phil Taylor and Ray Carver at the Mohegan Sun.
The inaugural event saw the world's two best players team up with the top stars from America for the Fox Sports-broadcasted event.
Comprising five best-of-five-leg games, the World Darts Challenge saw the teams face off in Singles matches before the final contest pitted the pairs against each other.

Taylor won Game One 4-1 with some clinical finishing against Kuczynski, taking a 3-0 lead before the American landed double one to hit back.
Taylor wrapped up the win with a third double eight finish in four legs.
However, that result was cancelled out in Game Two, when van Barneveld produced a 4-1 win over Carver.
The Dutchman matched Taylor in opening a 3-0 lead, thanks to impressive finishes of 85, 91 and 156.
Carver won the fourth but van Barneveld's double six secured the win.
Carver had a chance to hit back when he took on Kuczynski in Game Three, but came out on the end of a 3-2 loss in the most exciting game of the night.
Kuczynski took out 121 and 128 to win the first two legs, Carver landed a 180 in taking the third before a 111 finish gave his opponent victory.
Carver, however, finished with a flourish with a stunning 170 to pull back a leg and leave his team just 8-7 down after three games.
Van Barneveld went close to wrapping up the win with a fine display against Taylor in Game Four, winning 4-1.
The Dutchman again created a 3-0 lead, punishing Taylor's misses with further strong finishing before the 13-time World Champion took out 87 for leg four.
Van Barneveld's double top sealed him the win and put his team 12-8 up in the race-to-13 contest as the Doubles teams took to the oche.
Taylor and Carver made a fine start, with the latter hitting a second 180 of the night as they took the opening leg.
Van Barneveld narrowly missed double 8 for a 136 finish in leg two before his team-mate Kuczynski levelled the game, before Carver's 137 score left Taylor an easy double 16 for leg three.
Kuczynski took leg four on double nine, and the match came to a thrilling end when Carver finished 136 with treble 20, double 18 and double top to take a 3-2 lead.
Despite bringing the Mohegan Sun crowd to its feet, it was not enough as van Barneveld and Kuczysnki took home the World Darts Challenge trophies.
