Ritchie Edhouse and Niko Springer completed a European Tour qualification double on Thursday, as Tour Card Holder Qualifiers for European Tour Events 11-12 took place in Hildesheim.
Thursday’s double-header at the Halle 39 saw a field of 87 players competing in the respective European Tour qualifiers, which produced ten players per event.
The Czech Darts Open (ET11) will be held at the PVA EXPO in Prague from September 5-7, before the Hungarian Darts Trophy (ET12) takes place in Budapest from September 19-21.
Reigning European Champion Edhouse was superb in Germany, winning six consecutive matches to book his place in Prague and Budapest, beating Thomas Lovely in both Last 20 rounds to seal ET11 and ET12 qualification, respectively.
Springer, a three-time Development Tour winner, was also unbeaten in Hildesheim, seeing off former UK Open champion Dimitri Van den Bergh and former World Youth Champion Bradley Brooks to book his place in both events.
Krzysztof Ratajski was one of the showcases on the list of ET11 Qualifiers, following up a 100 average in a whitewash win over Christian Kist with a narrow victory against Dylan Slevin to clinch his place at the Czech Darts Open.
Ian White, who recently qualified for both ET9 and ET10, continued his good run of form as he beat Max Hopp, Stefaan Henderyck and Rob Owen to seal his place in Prague.
Richard Veenstra booked his spot in the Czech Darts Open, but lost out narrowly to Springer to see his hopes of a qualification double dashed.
Brendan Dolan, William O'Connor, Kevin Doets, Cor Dekker and Mike Kuivenhoven also sealed spots in the Czech Darts Open.
Lukas Wenig followed up Tuesday's run to a Players Championship final by booking his spot in Budapest, with Leon Weber completing a trio of German qualifiers.
Frenchman Thibault Tricola, Welsh pair Jim Williams and Rob Owen and Scottish ace Darren Beveridge also progressed, while Cam Crabtree whitewashed Andy Boulton to secure his qualification and Tom Bissell edged past Owen Bates.
Croatian World Cup ace Pero Ljubic landed a nine-darter in the Hungarian Darts Trophy qualifier, but went on to lose his tie with Gotthardt 6-3.
