ONE of the circuit's most consistent performers in recent years, Dutch ace Jelle is still aiming to win his first televised PDC title.

Klaasen had enjoyed an incredible introduction to the sport's top level, winning the 2006 Lakeside Championship in his debut at the event - overcoming fellow countryman Raymond van Barneveld in the final - and went on to join the PDC circuit 12 months later.

A first PDC ranking title followed at a Players Championship in Killarney in 2007, while he went on to make his Premier League debut and reach the European Championship semi-finals during 2009.

A quarter-finalist in the European Championship for four successive years from 2013-2016, Klaasen followed up three Players Championship victories in 2015 by reaching the 2016 World Championship and UK Open semi-finals, and he returned to the Premier League in 2017.
