ONE of the sport's emerging stars, Joe broke into the world's top 32 in 2016 following his breakthrough year on the circuit.
Originally a qualifier for the 2008 UK Open, his impressive display in that tournament was followed by Cullen joining the circuit later that year.
After making his World Championship debut at the 2011 tournament, Cullen went on to win three Development Tour titles that year and qualified for the World Matchplay for the first time in 2012.
It would be 2016, though, where Cullen significantly reached his first televised quarter-final at the UK Open, and his superb form on the circuit also saw him jump into the world's top 32 and reach the last eight at the World Series of Darts Finals.
A first PDC ProTour title followed in 2017 with Cullen's victory in a Players Championship in Barnsley.
Cullen made a strong start to the 2018 campaign, reaching three quarter-finals and a semi-final in the first four European Tour events of the year.
The winner of European Tour events in 2019 and 2020, Cullen also won a Players Championship to conclude the 2020 ProTour season and the opening event of 2021.
