SCOTLAND overcame a scare against New Zealand in the Betway World Cup of Darts before claiming a 5-3 win to begin their challenge in Germany as pre-tournament favourites Netherlands edged past Russia.

The 2020 BetVictor World Cup of Darts will be held from November 6-8 at the Salzburgarena.

The tournament will see the top two players from 32 nations competing in both doubles and singles matches.
