Fallon Sherrock claimed two titles and Lisa Ashton also took a win as the duo continued to dominate the PDC Women's Series in Events 7-9.

Sherrock and Ashton had shared the year's first six titles in Milton Keynes last month, and began the second weekend of action in dominant form.

Sherrock won Events Seven and Nine, while Ashton won Event Eight before being the runner-up in Saturday's third event at the Barnsley Metrodome.

The results mean both players have now qualified for the William Hill World Darts Championship - with third-placed Deta Hedman unable to catch either on the Order of Merit on Sunday.

Ashton is also in pole position to qualify for the Cazoo Grand Slam of Darts from this weekend's six events, with Sherrock already having secured her Wolverhampton spot.

Sherrock was in sensational form as she opened Saturday's action by claiming the Event Seven title to extend her advantage at the top of the Order of Merit.

She averaged 103.90 in her win over Lorraine Hyde at the last 32 stage, and then averaged 102.95 in a 5-0 whitewash of Mikuru Suzuki in the final.

Ashton then defeated Sherrock 5-3 in the final of Event Eight to add another title to the three she won in Milton Keynes last month.

She had lost only one leg before defeating Mikuru Suzuki 4-3 in the quarter-finals, coming from 3-2 down to take victory, and also came back from the same scoreline to win the final with legs of 12 and 13 darts during her fightback.

Event Nine saw Sherrock drop just three legs in four games to reach the semi-finals, where a 5-2 defeat of Hedman sealed a spot in the final and World Championship qualification.

She then came from 2-1 down in the final to reel off four straight legs to gain revenge on Ashton for her earlier loss and end the day on a high.

The 2021 PDC Women's Series will conclude on Sunday with Events 10-12 in Barnsley, including live streaming from one board throughout the day in PDCTV.
