PDC Werner Rankings Ladder

Luke Humphries has extended his lead at the top of the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder after celebrating his eighth European Tour title in Prague on Sunday.

Humphries returned to winning ways on the big stage with his third Gambrinus Czech Darts Open triumph in four years, which he sealed with an 8-5 victory over Josh Rock.

The world number one also overcame Dirk van Duijvenbode, Martin Schindler, Wessel Nijman and James Wade en route to glory in the Czech capital, as he claimed his first ranking title since February.

Rock’s run to a second consecutive European Tour final edges him closer to a place in the world’s top ten, with Northern Ireland’s number one trailing Damon Heta by less than £4,000.

The 24-year-old was imperious in Prague, opening his campaign with victory over William O’Connor before defeating Dutch trio Michael van Gerwen, Jermaine Wattimena and Gian van Veen on Finals Day.

Wattimena’s run to his first European Tour quarter-final of the year has catapulted him above Daryl Gurney, while Krzysztof Ratajski has slipped four places to 37th on the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder.
