Amazing Greaves extends Women's Series streak to 11 events

Beau Greaves (PDC)

Beau Greaves' incredible winning streak on the PDC Women's Series was extended on Saturday to 72 matches and 11 successive events as she denied Fallon Sherrock twice in dramatic finals in Wigan.

Greaves has dominated the PDC Women's Series once again this year, winning 14 of the first 20 events across five weekends.

She has also finished second on the Winmau Development Tour to secure a Tour Card for 2026/27 and reached the Winmau World Youth Championship final last Monday.

Greaves continued that stunning form to win both of Saturday's events as the final weekend of the Women's Series began at the Robin Park Leisure Centre.

The 21-year-old from Doncaster dropped just two legs on her way to the quarter-finals of Event 21, where she survived a match dart against Noa-Lynn van Leuven before claiming a narrow 5-4 win.

Greaves then reeled off five successive legs - four in 14 darts or less - in a 5-1 semi-final win over Gemma Hayter, before being pushed all the way in a high-quality final against Sherrock.

Greaves led 3-1 and 4-2 but paid for failing to close out victory in leg seven as the former Women's World Matchplay winner hit back to force a decider - but the Doncaster ace landed a 14-darter for another title.

Sherrock, a two-time Women's Series winner, booked her place in a seventh final of 2025 with wins over Macy Gibbons, Sara Walton, Kirsi Viinikainen, Deta Hedman and Sue Lowther in Event 21.

Sherrock also reached the Event 22 final with some fine displays - dropping only one leg in her first four games before seeing off Viinikainen and Van Leuven in the latter stages.

Greaves lost just four legs in her firs round wins before whitewashing Rhian O'Sullivan in the quarter-finals and defeating Women's World Matchplay winner Lisa Ashton in the semis.

The final was another see-saw affair, with Greaves ending with a 101.98 average after being pushed all the way by Sherrock - who averaged 96 once more in the decider.

All nine legs, though, went with throw - with Sherrock posting legs of 13 and 11 darts in mid-game only to see Greaves take the sudden-death leg for another triumph.

Sunday sees the year's final two PDC Women's Series events take place in Wigan, with two places alongside Greaves and Sherrock in the Paddy Power World Darts Championship still on offer.

Ashton sits in third place in the Women's Series rankings on £10,700, ahead of Van Leuven (£8,400) and Hayter (£7,300), with Viinikainen and Robyn Byrne also in touch with the top five.

Events 23-24 will be streamed live on PDCTVon Sunday, with play getting underway from approximately 1000 GMT.
