DAVE has established himself as a contender at the sport's highest level since joining the PDC circuit in 2011, as he seeks to claim his maiden televised title.
The St Helens-born thrower made his breakthrough by reaching the 2010 Lakeside Championship final and winning a handful of BDO ranking events before coming through the PDC's inaugural Qualifying School in 2011.
He won his first of 11 PDC ranking titles during that maiden year on the PDC circuit and was a semi-finalist in the 2012 UK Open before reaching the World Grand Prix final the following year, where he was denied by Phil Taylor.
Chisnall made his debut on the Premier League and PDC World Series of Darts circuits in 2014, when he also won through to the Grand Slam of Darts final only to see Taylor take victory once again.
A semi-finalist in the 2015 Premier League, Chisnall landed his first televised nine-darter later that year at the Grand Slam of Darts.
A successful 2016 saw Chisnall consolidate his top-ten status and reach the finals of The Masters, Perth Darts Masters and Players Championship Finals - only to see Michael van Gerwen take victory in all three deciders to extend his quest for a televised title.
Chizzy made the last eight of the 2017 World Championship before finishing fifth in the Premier League later that year.
The St Helens ace partnered Adrian Lewis to reach the semi-final of the 2017 World Cup of Darts and enjoyed a run to the final of the 2017 Shanghai Masters.
Chisnall ended his 18-month wait for a PDC title in February 2019 at Players Championship 2 with a dramatic 8-7 victory over Glen Durrant, and followed it up with victory at Players Championship 8 just over a month later.
He won his third PDC title of 2019, and a first European Tour crown since 2013, at the Danish Darts Open in Copenhagen in June 2019.
