AN additional PDC Unicorn Youth Tour event has been announced, to be held in Wigan on Saturday April 30.
The success of the first four PDC Unicorn Youth Tour events, with over 100 entries in each of the tournaments, four separate winners and a nine-dart finish from Michael Smith, has led to the addition of another event.
The tournament, now the sixth of the year, will be held at Wigan's Robin Park Tennis Centre on April 30, and will take place following the conclusion of the UK Open Qualifier that afternoon.
Entries are also being taken until 12pm on Friday April 15 for the next Youth Tour event, to be held at the Barnsley Metrodome on Saturday April 16.
Each event features £2,000 in prize money, offering £600 to the winner and prize money from the last 16 onwards, with all prize money won going towards an Order of Merit.
Entry costs £25, via the PDC Head Office on 08712 501 180 during office hours from 9am-5pm from Monday-Friday.
The deadline for entering tournaments is 12pm on the Friday immediately before each event.
Should a player need to withdraw after entering a tournament, they can do this via the PDC Head Office on 08712 501 180.
Entries are open to players aged 14 and over, with an upper age limit of players needing to be aged 21 and under on January 3 2011 to be eligible to play in the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour events.
