Wade Prepared For Taylor Tussle

JAMES WADE is feeling 'fresh' ahead of the Sky Bet Mobile World Matchplay final against Phil Taylor.

Wade and Taylor will clash for the third time in the World Matchplay final on Sunday night as they challenge for the £100,000 first prize and the prestigious title.

The pair previously met in the 2006 and 2008 finals, with Taylor taking victory on both occasions.

However, Wade enters this year's decider having won last month's Speedy Hire UK Open in Bolton and following a fine run in Bolton, which began with a 10-0 whitewash of Jamie Caven and also included his 17-10 semi-final defeat of World Champion Adrian Lewis.

"I've never felt as determined going into a final," said Wade. "I feel fresh and I am really looking forward to this.

"It's my favourite tournament and the crowds have been fantastic throughout the week for me.

"I'm really looking forward to it and I've got to take every shot I get if I'm going to win.

"Phil is like a big tree, and you have to cut him down slowly. I have to get everything right because I know Phil will be prepared."

Coverage of the Sky Bet Mobile World Matchplay final will be live in the UK through Sky Sports, whose HD coverage will also be accompanied by 3D broadcasts, while telecasts will also be shown live in Holland on RTL7, Germany on Sport1 and Australia on FoxSports.
