FANS attending the Cash Converters Players Championship Finals are being encouraged to support the Movember campaign this month.
The Movember campaign, which raises funds for prostate and testicular cancer charities and awareness of mens health issues, is being supported by a host of top PDC stars this year, including world number one Phil Taylor and reigning World Champion Adrian Lewis.
Cash Converters, the title sponsors of the ITV4-televised Players Championship Finals, which will be held from November 30-December 2 at the Butlins Minehead Resort, have launched the TashConverters initiative to show their support for Movember.
Fans attending the Cash Converters Players Championship who are growing their own moustache for Movember will be able to win prizes at the tournament and take part in a special shave-off with a barber on stage!
In addition, fans can upload pictures of their moustaches throughout the month via the www.tashconverters.co.uk website.
The TashConverters initiative is also being held throughout Cash Converters stores nationwide with in-store events taking place throughout the month.
Fans without a moustache can still get involved too, with a series of moustaches available to download and wear both for in-store events and at the Cash Converters Players Championship Finals.
"We're very keen to support the Movember appeal and TashConverters is our way of helping darts fans and our customers to get involved with a great cause," said Richard Livesey, Cash Converters Head of Marketing.
"With the Cash Converters Players Championship Finals beginning on the final day of Movember, players and fans at Butlins in Minehead will be able to show their Mo off and we'll have some great prizes on offer.
