PDC Team Up For Roulette Darts Launch

LIVING SPORTS, an award-winning second screen game developer, has announced the launch of Roulette Darts in partnership with the PDC and leading data provider SportStat.

Roulette Darts is an exciting new interactive darts game which will launch later this year and allows users to predict which will be the next winning double as they watch the match on TV or live at a venue.

Players simply tap the screen dartboard where they think the next double will be scored and they can place their predictions using a smartphone, tablet or PC. They will also be able to download the game as an app or from specific bookmaker websites.

The Professional Darts Corporation has licensed the product, developed by Living Sports in conjunction with SportStat, and it can be played on a 'fun only' basis or in conjunction with selected bookmakers.

Living Sports won Newcomer of the Year at this month's prestigious Betview Awards, capping an excellent seven months for the company after it was also awarded the 5th EiG Start-Up LaunchPad in Barcelona in October.

Roulette Darts follows on from Living Sports' successful Roulette Cricket and Roulette Football products.

Dave Tharp, Living Sports Managing Director, said: "More and more people are choosing to use a second screen to enhance their enjoyment of watching live sport, either at an event or on TV. Our games aim to provide an extra dimension to their participation.

"When Roulette Cricket proved so popular we looked to develop similar products for other sports. Darts is an ideal platform, with its circular scoreboard and quick-fire results.

"We were delighted to enter into a partnership with SportStat and the PDC and together we can offer a really strong proposition."

PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter said: "Roulette Darts is a fantastic concept which I'm sure darts and sports fans in general will really enjoy.

"As it can be played both for fun and real money it will appeal to all and add a new dimension to the enjoyment of the game when watching at home or live in the venue."

Andrew Palmer, SportStat's Sales Director, said: "We are very excited that in partnership with the PDC and Living Sports our fast data is being brought to life in an entertaining way. The app will ensure that darts fans are kept up to date when they're on the move."

Further information about the release of Roulette Darts will be announced in due course once the app become available.
