THE 2013 Championship League Darts season will kick off on Tuesday September 24 with the world's top eight players facing off in the first of nine days of action in the internet-streamed event.
Championship League Darts will be streamed live online worldwide to LIVEPDC.TV Subscribers, and streamed online through a series of bookmakers' websites around the world.
Each group will feature eight players, who initially play off over the best of 11 legs in a round-robin league stage, before the top four players contest the semi-finals and finals.
The eight Group Winners will progress to the big-money Winners Group on Thursday October 24, while the bottom two players from each day's league table are eliminated, with the next three players from the rankings entering into the next group.
Group One features the world's top eight players, led by reigning Championship League Darts winner Phil Taylor, Premier League Darts champion Michael van Gerwen and European Champion Adrian Lewis.
They are joined by Simon Whitlock, the 2012 Championship League Darts runner-up, 2010 champion James Wade, UK Open finalist Andy Hamilton and 2013 European Tour champions Dave Chisnall and Wes Newton.
Prize money is paid at £50 per leg won in the league stage, which doubles to £100 per leg won in the semi-finals and final on the day.
Play will commence at 10.30am (BST) on Tuesday September 24, and all games will be the best of 11 legs.
