Wigan Entries Remain Open

ENTRIES for the Players Championship weekend in Wigan on November 2-3 and the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts Wildcard Qualifier are still available.

The return to Wigan's Robin Park Tennis Centre will feature two key Players Championship tournaments on Saturday November 2 and Sunday November 3.

The events form the penultimate PDC ProTour weekend of the year, with competition set to be high with places in the Cash Converters Players Championship Finals and Ladbrokes World Darts Championship still up for grabs.

Entries for the two Players Championship events close at 2pm on Tuesday October 22, and entry must be made through the PDC Online Entry System.

Entry is open to PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members, with the field limited to 128 but, with the top 16 players set to be in action in The Masters, spaces will be available for Associate Members in these events.

The weekend is set to conclude on Monday November 4 with the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts Wildcard Qualifier, which will find the appropriate number of players to complete the field for next month's event in Wolverhampton.

Four places currently remain available for players should they win through to the finals of Championship League Darts or The Masters, with any remaining places then moving on to be awarded to players from the Wildcard Qualifier.

Entry to the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts Wildcard Qualifier is limited to 256 players and is available now, costing £30, through the PDC Online Entry System.

Players who have previously played in PDC events should login as usual through http://pdclive.servasport.com/login.html, with new players needing to first register their details at http://pdclive.servasport.com/register.html.
