THE 2014 UK Open Qualifiers originally scheduled to be held at the Rivermead Centre in Reading on February 21-23 will now be held at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan.
The weekend will be the final triple-header of UK Open Qualifiers next February, with tournaments being played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The move to stage the UK Open Qualifiers in Wigan means that the Robin Park Tennis Centre will host all six events in the qualifying race for places in the Televised Finals at the Butlins Minehead Resort in March.
The switch from the original venue of Reading was made in order to accommodate an expected high number of entries, with players reminded of Order of Merit Rule 6.3 in terms of any expenses already incurred.
