The field for the tournament will be completed on Thursday night, with the Host Nation Qualifier and European Qualifier producing the final 12 competitors.
Four Austrian players will come through the Host Nation Qualifier, with eight places available in the European Qualifier for those players to join the 20 UK Qualifiers in the first round on Friday.
The 16 seeded players - including 2012 Austrian Darts Open winner Justin Pipe and 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor - then enter the fray in the second round, which is split across two sessions on Saturday.
The tournament will then conclude on Sunday, with the third round being held in the afternoon session before the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final in the evening session.
