Next Stop Dusseldorf For PDC Stars

THE stars of the PDC return to Dusseldorf's Maritim Hotel for the European Darts Open from Friday July 11-Sunday July 13, completing the summer's trio of European Tour events.

The £100,000 European Tour event will begin with the first round being split across two stages on Friday afternoon at the Maritim Hotel, with play on the main stage accompanied by games on stage in an adjoining hall.

The players seeded 9-16 will then play their second round games on Friday night, with the players seeded 1-8 playing their second round games on Saturday afternoon.

The tournament continues on Saturday evening with the third round, before play concludes on Sunday afternoon with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

The European Qualifier and Host Nation Qualifier will be held on Thursday July 10 in Dusseldorf (7.30pm), when the remaining 12 spots in the first round will be decided, with former Maritim Hotel winner Raymond van Barneveld amongst the hopefuls trying to progress to the main event.

The European Darts Open draw and schedule of play will also be available on Thursday July 10 and posted at www.pdc.tv once finalised in the evening.
