Unibet Masters Betting Latest

UNIBET, the title sponsors of The Unibet Masters, look at the latest betting odds ahead of November's event at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

THE Unibet Masters gets underway on Saturday November 1, and the two day darts extravaganza promises to be a must-see event live on ITV4.

Following the first round draw, Unibet immediately priced up no less than 112 markets, including odds on every player to win the tournament, all of the first round matches, plus 12 different markets on each of those initial eight games.

Michael van Gerwen is our pre-tournament favourite, but only just. He is 9/4 with Unibet to lift the Unibet Masters trophy on November 2, with Phil Taylor at 11/4.

We then make James Wade and Gary Anderson both 8/1 chances, with Adrian Lewis at 10/1.

We’ve got odds on nearly anything you can think of!  Those expecting a nine-dart finish at any point during the tournament can get 9/4 - but if you reckon it won’t happen, well take our 1/3 .

As far as the eight first round matches are concerned, the tightest game according to Unibet odds, will be the second contest in Saturday afternoon's first round, with Dave Chisnall 8/11 to win while Robert Thornton is evens.

The most one sided match according to our odds compilers will be the Phil Taylor versus Wes Newton encounter – the reigning champion is 1/8 to win while Newton is 6/1 to progress.

One big talking point is how many 180s will be thrown during the tournament, and we offer 10/11 on under 96.5, and 4/5 on over 96.5 - plus you can bet on which player in every game will hit most 180s.

For instance, in the opening game on Saturday afternoon Unibet make Peter Wright 4/6 favourite to score more 180s than rival Justin Pipe, who is 11/10 .

Another interesting talking point, which Unibet offer odds on, is which player in every one of the eight first round matches will hit the highest checkout.

It’s no surprise to learn that of all the 16 players competing, it’s Phil Taylor who has the shortest odds – we go 4/9 he hits a higher check out in his match against Wes Newton, who is 13/8 (it’s 25/1 it’s a draw ).

A great fun bet we have devised for The Unibet Masters is what the score will be of the very first dart in every first round game.

The prices vary a little for each specific game, but are around 11/10 for a treble 20, 4/5 for a single 20 and 11/1 for any other score.

Don’t forget that Unibet already has 112 markets available on The Unibet Masters, with plenty more to come.

And you can take the odds on any of these markets above and others such as total legs betting, checkout total points and red checkout at this link or on your mobile.
