2020 US Darts Masters Qualification Info

US Darts Masters (Lucas Peltier, PDC)

QUALIFYING events will be held in Toronto, Chicago and New York for players to win spots in the 2020 US Darts Masters and North American Darts Championship.

The World Series of Darts' visit to North America in 2020 will see the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden host the sport's top players on June 5-6.

Eight spots will be on offer for North American players alongside eight PDC representatives - who will include World Championship sensation Fallon Sherrock - in the two stage events in New York.

American left-hander Danny Lauby has already secured one of the qualification spots after winning the 2019 CDC Continental Cup, which was also held in New York in October.

Four qualifying events will be held early in 2020 for players to secure places in the tournaments, coming as two double-headers ahead of CDC weekends in Toronto in March and Chicago in May.

A further place will be awarded to the leading non-qualified player from a ranking list made up of points accrued in the 2019 CDC Tour Events 7-10 and 2020 CDC Tour Events 1-4.

The remaining two places will be on offer in two last-chance qualifiers on Thursday June 4 in New York, giving one final chance for players from the US and Canada to secure their place on stage against the likes of women's star Sherrock and world number one Michael van Gerwen.

The eight qualifiers will take on the eight PDC representatives on Friday June 5 in the first round of the US Darts Masters.

The afternoon session on Saturday June 6 will see the North American Darts Championship held, as the eight qualifiers play down to a winner to secure the domestic title and a spot in the 2020/2021 William Hill World Darts Championship.

The 2020 US Darts Masters then concludes the action in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in the evening session on Saturday June 6.

Tickets for the 2020 US Darts Masters and North American Championship are on sale now through Ticketmaster.com.
