Westby & Smith to lock horns in Super 16 final in Milton Keynes

JDC Super 16

Joseph Westby and Cayden Smith will contest the JDC Super 16 final in Milton Keynes on Sunday, as two stars of the future experience the Marshall Arena stage.

The Junior Darts Corporation tournament will again conclude with the final on-stage during the Cazoo Masters, prior to the start of Sunday afternoon's quarter-final action.

Lancashire's Westby - aged 14 - won through the Super 16's early rounds last year to secure his place in the showpiece event.

Teenage sensation Luke Littler, who lifted the JDC Super 16 title in each of the last two years, had also initially won through to the final.

However, after winning the World Youth Championship and then reaching January's World Championship final, the 17-year-old has withdrawn from the competition.

Littler is replaced by 16-year-old Cayden Smith, with the West Midlands youngster stepping in to compete in the best-of-nine leg contest.
