Ally Pally Qualifiers Known

THE PDC Order of Merit and Players Championship Order of Merit Qualifiers for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship have been confirmed following the weekend's PDC ProTour events in Derby.

The 37th Players Championship of 2010 gave players their final chance to earn an automatic place at Alexandra Palace next month.

However, there would be no changes to the world's top 32 following the event, or to the 16 players who qualify through the Players Championship Order of Merit.

John Part has held on to 32nd place in the PDC Order of Merit - meaning he could face defending champion Phil Taylor in a tasty second round clash at the World Championship.

The Players Championship Order of Merit Qualifiers, meanwhile, include resurgent Richie Burnett - who has qualified for his first World Championship since the 2007 event, when he lost in round one to Alex Roy.

Steve Farmer, Justin Pipe, Nigel Heydon, Mark Hylton, Chris Thompson and Joe Cullen will all be making their debuts on the Alexandra Palace stage, while Brendan Dolan was a victim of Raymond van Barneveld's nine-darter last year.

The field will be finalised on Monday following the PDPA Qualifier in Derby.
