THE fixtures for the remainder of the Betway Premier League season have been announced, with league leader Phil Taylor set to face reigning champion Gary Anderson at the Sheffield Arena next Thursday as the battle for Play-Off places intensifies.
With Dave Chisnall and Michael Smith having been eliminated from the tournament following Thursday's Judgement Night in Cardiff, the remaining eight players will now face off once more over the remaining six league nights.
The top four players will then progress to battle for the prestigious title in the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on Thursday May 19 - but with seven games each remaining the competition is set to be fierce for a semi-final spot.
Each player will play twice on one league night in the next four weeks, before the final two league nights, at the Manchester Arena and the sell-out Premier League debut at Rotterdam's Ahoy Arena, feature four games on each night before the cut-off for Play-Off places.
The visit to the Sheffield Arena on Thursday April 7 will see the second phase of the league season include the high-profile contest between current league leader Phil Taylor and reigning Premier League and World Champion Gary Anderson.
Taylor will also face former Premier League champion James Wade in Sheffield, with the left-hander meeting Raymond van Barneveld in the night's opening game before Michael van Gerwen meets Robert Thornton and Adrian Lewis plays Peter Wright.
The tournament then crosses the Irish Sea to Belfast's SSE Arena on April 14, where the world's top-two ranked players, van Gerwen and Anderson, will lock horns.
Van Barneveld will play twice on the night as he meets great rival Taylor - with the Dutch star being the only player so far this season to defeat the 16-time World Champion - as well as Scottish ace Thornton, who faces Wright in the opening fixture before Wade later meets Lewis.
The league night at the Bournemouth International Centre will see van Gerwen and Lewis both play twice, with the Dutchman also meeting Wright and the Stoke ace taking on van Barneveld - who famously hit a nine-darter at the venue a decade ago in the 2006 Premier League.
Taylor will face Thornton while Anderson meets Wade in the other contest in Bournemouth.
The league night at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on April 28 will be the last to feature five fixtures as Anderson and Wright double up, with the colourful Scot taking on Taylor in the opening match before the reigning champion plays van Barneveld.
Thornton and Lewis then meet before Wade plays van Gerwen, with the left-hander being the only player so far this season to defeat the Dutchman.
The two Dutch stars, who drew in Cardiff on Thursday, will face off at the Manchester Arena on May 5 on a night which also features the all-Stoke battle between Lewis and Taylor, Wade's meeting with Wright and the clash between Scottish major winners Anderson and Thornton.
The final league night sees the tournament make its first visit to the Netherlands, with the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam set to see van Gerwen meet Taylor, van Barneveld play Wright, Anderson take on Lewis - in a repeat of January's World Championship final - and Wade play Thornton.
All league nights will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and will begin at 7pm BST. Games remain the best of 12 legs, with two points for a win and one point for a six-all draw.
