THE Holsten Qualifiers for the Blue Square UK Open will soon be open for entry, with 32 places in the Televised Finals at the Reebok Stadium up for grabs.
Over 800 pubs across the UK will be holding in-house knockouts over the next six weeks to give players a chance to compete in the Blue Square UK Open.
Winners of House Knockouts will progress to one of four Regional Finals, to be held in on May 10 & 11.
Eight players from each Regional Final will then win a place in the Televised Finals at the Reebok Stadium from June 5-8.
Eligible pubs are currently being sent out their competition packs, and a full list of pubs will be displayed here once these have been received in-house.
If licensees do not plan to hold a knockout, players are encouraged to ask to run a knockout on their behalf.
Players must be aged 18 or over on March 5 2008, and PDPA members and players who have competed in the 2007-2008 Blue Square UK Open Regional Finals are not eligible to enter the Holsten Qualifiers.
