Bromberg Wins US Qualifier

STACY BROMBERG has won the US Qualifier for the PDC Unicorn Women's World Championship.

The Las Vegas-based star defeated Brenda Roush in the final of the US Qualifier, which was held last weekend alongside the Cleveland Extravaganza event.

Bromberg has been the leading female player in the United States for more than a decade, and as well as representing her country in ADO events has been a regular in PDC-ranked tournaments in north America.

She will now travel to the UK in June to compete in Barnsley on Saturday June 12 in the last 32 of the tournament, alongside the other International Qualifiers and the 20 Rileys Qualifiers.

The last 32 will play down to the final in Barnsley, before the remaining two players compete for the £10,000 first prize on Sunday July 25 ahead of the StanJames.com World Matchplay final.

The Canadian Qualifier will be held on May 8 in Brossard, Quebec, in conjunction with the Le Skratch Sarantos Retsinas Memorial Tournament.
