PDC Stars Support Charity Night

MANY of the PDC's top stars helped to raise over £1,300 for St Oswald's Hospice in Newcastle on Saturday.

A memorial night for late PDC Players Marshall Bobby Bourn was held at the Marden Resident's Club, organised by PDC marker Gary Wood.

Several top players donated shirts and memorabilia, which were used in an auction and raffle on the night.

PDC stars who attended included Wayne Mardle, Colin Lloyd, Kevin Painter, Colin Osborne, Mark Dudbridge, Adrian Gray, Michael van Gerwen, Roland Scholten, Jelle Klaasen, Vincent van der Voort, Steve Maish, Steve Brown, Kirk Shepherd and Bob Anderson.

Rod Harrington led a team of PDC officials who also supported the event.

Dennis Priestley, who is currently making a successful recovery from his prostate cancer operation, donated the shirt he wore in the final of the first ever PDC World Championship, which went for £320 in the auction.

Other items included shirts from Wayne Mardle, Colin Lloyd, Peter Manley, Adrian Gray along with books from Wayne Mardle and Phil Taylor and sporting memorabilia from the world of boxing, cricket and snooker.
