ENTRIES for the two Players Championship tournaments in Newport later this month close on Thursday.
The two Players Championships will be the last two to count for the qualification for the Sky Poker World Grand Prix, following 21 other events held around the world this year.
The weekend of events at the Newport Centre has seen the second Players Championship added to replace the Blue Square UK Open Welsh Regional Final on Sunday September 21, with that event moving to the New Year.
PDPA members are reminded that entries for both events close at 12pm BST on Thursday September 11.
Players can enter through the PDC Online Entry System or by calling 08712 501 180.
