Lourence Ilagan (Jenny Segers/PDC)

Lourence Ilagan headlined seven players from Asian who confirmed their qualification for the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship last weekend.

Ilagan will make his Alexandra Palace return this December after clinching the PDC Asian Championship crown for the second consecutive year, beating Alexis Toylo 7-4 in Sunday’s showpiece.

China played host to the final weekend of 2025 PDC Asian Tour action and the season-ending PDC Asian Championship, as a further six players confirmed their qualification for Alexandra Palace.

Toylo - who finished top of the PDC Asian Tour rankings this year - will return to the capital, as the 33-year-old beat Mikuru Suzuki, Qingyu Zhan and Paul Lim to reach the PDC Asian Championship final, before losing out to his compatriot Ilagan.

The Filipino pair will be joined by Japanese pair of Ryusei Azemoto and debutant Motomo Sakai in competing at the World Championship.

Sakai - who finished third on the rankings this year - sealed his first spot at Alexandra Palace with runs to both the semi-final and final respectively in China in the final PDC Asian Tour events.

Azemoto - who lost to Wesley Plaisier in the first round last year - will look to make further progress on his return to London.

Elsewhere, legendary star Paul Lim will return to Ally Pally, as 'The Singapore Slinger' qualified for the first time since 2022 - where he lost to Joe Murnan,

The 71-year-old famously hit the first nine-darter in World Championship history in 1990, and will maintain his status as the oldest player to ever play at the World Championship in December.

Paolo Nebrida and Man Lok Leung - who finished in sixth and seventh place on the PDC Asian Tour rankings - also secured their spots at the World Darts Championship in December, after Toylo and Ilagan reached the PDC Asian Championship final.

Next weekend will see a further two players secure their Ally Pally spots as the 2025 CDC Tour concludes with the year's final three events taking place in Brownsburg, USA.

Adam Sevada has already sealed his World Championship debut after winning five events this year, and he will be joined by a further American qualifier and the top-ranked Canadian from the CDC rankings following Events 14-16.
