Jack Johnson won his second JDC stage final of 2025 with victory over Alfie Hutton in Sunday's National Volts decider in Leicester.
The teenage duo took to the Mattioli Arena stage ahead of the World Grand Prix final for the culmination of the new JDC tournament.
Johnson has already enjoyed a taste of the big stage in 2025, when he won the JDC Super 16 final in Milton Keynes, and the 13-year old left Leicester with another title following a narrow 5-4 success.
Hutton finished 94 to win the final's opening leg, before a 126 checkout saw Johnson level with a 12-darter, before the left-hander took out 65 to move in front.
Hutton took out 62 and 94 to win two of the next three, before claiming leg seven to edge ahead and move to within touching distance of victory.
Johnson, though, won the eighth to level and captured the title in a dramatic ninth leg.
The next JDC final on the big stage will be the 2025 JDC Super 16, which will take place during the Grand Slam of Darts next month.
The JDC World Junior Championship final will then be held at Alexandra Palace during the World Darts Championship, before the new Winmau Junior World Masters concludes at Milton Keynes early in 2026.
