Shane McGuirk, Tom Sykes, Yorick Hofkens and Matthias Ehlers have secured their Tour Cards after winning six consecutive games on Saturday, as Jimmy Van Schie also confirmed his Tour Card via the rankings on Day Three of Final Stage.
Saturday’s action of Qualifying Schools in Milton Keynes and Kalkar saw five players secure their career-first Tour Cards for the upcoming two years.
McGuirk was one of the winners in the UK, defeating Charlie Manby 6-2 in his last four clash to ensure two years on the PDC circuit.
The Irishman began the day in tense fashion by winning last-leg deciders against Henry Coates and Ted Evetts, before comfortably seeing off Adam Hunt and Martin Robbie.
The former WDF Champion then bulldozed Nick Cocks 6-0 and capped off a strong day with a 6-2 win over Manby to average over 90 across all six of his matches and secure a Tour Card.
Sykes also experienced joy in Milton Keynes, announcing himself as a Tour Card winner after defeating Stephen Burton 6-4 in his final game of the day.
The Englishman saw off fellow countrymen Harrison Leigh and Harry Ward, before defeating Andrew Cass 6-3 to reach the last 16.
Sykes then produced averages of 99.73 and 100.20 to steamroll Tommy Morris 6-2 and Llew Bevan 6-0, before defeating Burton to ensure his status as a fresh Tour Card holder.
In Kalkar, German duo Hofkens and Ehlers were the outright winners of Friday’s action, with both players recording dramatic final-leg wins against Van Schie and Lennert Faes respectively.
Hofkens recovered from 5-4 down to defeat Brian Raman 6-5 in his opening match and took the scalps of Martin Homola and Rainer Sturm to reach the last 16.
The 18-year-old once again rallied from 5-4 down to triumph 6-5 against Belgian Jeroen Caron, before downing fellow German Pascal Rupprecht 6-4.
Hofkins faced Van Schie for a chance at a Tour Card, and, for a remarkable third time in six matches, recovered from 5-4 down - claiming a 13-dart break before sealing his status on the PDC circuit for the first time.
Despite Van Schie’s defeat to Hofkins, the Dutchman has guaranteed his Tour Card after accruing 11 points over three days of Final Stage, mathematically ensuring he will be awarded a spot on the PDC circuit via the European Qualifying School rankings.
The reigning WDF Champion took out Slovenian star Benjamin Pratnemer with a 102 average in his opening match of Saturday, and saw past Alexander Merkx, Nicolas Thuillier, Daniel Klose and Chris Landman before ceding defeat to Hofkins.
Ehlers made it a German double of daily Tour Card winners after coming out 6-5 winner of a scrappy affair against Faes.
The 44-year-old - who was defeated in the last four on Friday by Cristo Reyes - almost squandered a 5-3 lead against Faes, but managed to steady the ship and see off a 6-5 win with a 15-dart break.
Ehlers started his day in tense fashion, winning a deciding-leg showdown against Bjorn Quoiffy, before whitewashing Mitja Gustorf.
The German then accounted for Dutch duo Ricardo Ulrich and Ron Meulenkamp and breezed past veteran Pal Szekely, before edging past Faes to claim his Tour Card.
There is just one day left of Final Stage at Qualifying School, as Sunday sees four more Tour Cards awarded to daily winners in Milton Keynes and Kalkar.
A further 12 cards will then be awarded via the UK and European Qualifying Schools rankings, which will be finalised after Sunday’s action concludes.
Stephen Burton currently leads the UK rankings, closely followed by David Sharp and Sam Spivey, whilst the race is wide open in the European rankings with a host of players level on seven wins, aside from the mathematically-safe Van Schie.
