2007 Stan James World Matchplay Tickets

TICKETS for the 2007 Stan James World Matchplay will go on sale in January 2007, with exclusive pre-sale for DartsTV subscribers.

The 2007 Stan James World Matchplay will be contested from 22-28 July at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, with the prize fund being increased to £200,000 next year.

Customers with an annual subscription for DartsTV on the PDC's official website, www.planetdarts.tv, will have the opportunity to buy their tickets in advance of general sale.

DartsTV subscribers will be able to purchase tickets from Tuesday 2 January-Saturday 6 January, with tickets then going on general sale on Monday 8 January.

"This system proved hugely successful when introduced earlier this year for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship," said PDC Chief Executive Tim Darby.

"This move gives genuine darts fans the chance to get their tickets for one of the greatest, and most popular, events in the calendar.

"Tickets for this event have become some of the most sought-after in British sport in recent years, which is a testimony to the quality of darts on show in one of the finest arenas in the world."

DartsTV subscribers already receive live commentary and highlights from all major PDC tournaments, as well as archive footage and interviews with the stars of the sport.

Tickets will be limited to four per DartsTV subscriber per session in the week of pre-sale. New subscribers must wait until after midday on the day after joining the service to be able to purchase tickets.

Tickets will be booked through the Winter Gardens' Box Office in person or on TicketMaster on 0870 380 1111.
