TICKETS for the 2008 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace in London are now on general sale.
The tournament will be played over 19 sessions from Monday 17 December 2007-Tuesday 1 January 2008, featuring 68 players from around the world.
Included for the first time will be a Preliminary Round featuring eight international players, with the four winners then progressing into Round One.
Ticket prices begin at £15, with tickets for the final costing £50 on the floor or £40 for tiered seating.
"There has been massive interest in tickets since we announced recently that the tournament will move to Alexandra Palace," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
"This will be the most eagerly awaited World Championship ever, with up to 2,500 fans able to see the best players in the sport battling for over £500,000 in prize money.
"Alexandra Palace is a tremendous venue and the visit of the Holsten Premier League Darts in April has whetted the appetite for a great tournament."

For the pre-Christmas sessions, only floor seating will be available at this stage. From Boxing Day onwards, tiered seating will be available in addition to the floor seating.
Tickets for the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final will be limited to six per person.

Customers are respectfully requested to behave in an orderly manner at all times. Drunkeness will not be tolerated & perpetrators will be asked to leave the premises. Please do not shout out whilst the players are throwing.
Session times are subject to change and the PDC will make every effort to give as much notice as possible should this be unavoidable. Please check with the Box Office for any changes.
Ticket holders are requested to take their seats at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each session. The PDC reserves the right to fill any seat after this time.
The Broadcast may contain strobe lighting and smoke effects. Any person who may be adversely affected by such effects should take notice and take appropriate action.
No tickets are to be re-sold at a greater price than the face value on the ticket. Any persons attempting to do so will have those tickets made void.
All spectators are reminded that the writing of any message deemed offensive or inflammatory on 180 cards or similar will lead to perpetrators being asked to leave the premises.
No person is permitted to move tables, chairs or tables numbers. The appropriate action will be taken on any person found to be moving these items.
