PHIL TAYLOR and James Wade will lock horns in the opening round of Championship League Darts Group One on Tuesday September 7.
The £200,000-plus tournament, streamed exclusively on the internet, will kick off with the first of eight eight-player groups on Tuesday.
Players were selected following the StanJames.com World Matchplay in July, with the leading eight eligible players from the PDC Order of Merit competing in Group One.
2008 champion Phil Taylor - who lost in the 2009 final to Colin Osborne - will kick off the tournament on day one against last year's Group One winner, James Wade, the world number three.
Colin Lloyd and Robert Thornton meet on Board Two in the other opening game, with play taking place simultaneously on two separate boards to offer a choice for viewers.
Simon Whitlock will make his Championship League Darts debut in the second round of matches as he faces Mark Walsh, while two more of last year's Group Winners, Mervyn King and Adrian Lewis, also clash.
The eight players will face each other once in the round-robin league phase, with the top four players in the league table then progressing to compete in the semi-finals and final.
All games are the best of 11 legs, with prize money of £50 a leg paid in the round-robin league phase and £100 a leg paid in the play-offs.
