ITV Wildcard Qualifier Entries

ENTRIES for the ITV Wildcard Qualifier for the Grand Slam of Darts, which will be held at the Barnsley Metrodome on Friday November 5, are now being taken.

The ITV Wildcard Qualifier is the chance for ANY darts player to win one of four places in the Grand Slam of Darts - which will be held at the Wolverhampton Civic from November 13-21 and shown live on ITV Sport.

Entry to the ITV Wildcard Qualifier is open to all darts players, and costs £25.

The knockout tournament will be held in the evening of Friday November 5, with play progressing to produce the four qualifiers to compete in Wolverhampton.

Kevin McDine won through to the semi-finals in Wolverhampton in the 2007 after winning through the ITV Wildcard Qualifier, while Steve Maish (pictured) was successful last year.

PDPA members entering the ITV Wildcard Qualifier can do as normal by logging into the PDC Online Entry System

Non-Members
Non-members must first register their details via this link before then logging into the PDC Online Entry System with the Username and Password which they will receive via email.
A separate registration must be made for each individual player being entered, as the system does not allow multiple entries.

Entries close at 12pm on Wednesday November 3.

Registration and Start Time

Registration on Friday November 5 is between 3.30pm 5pm. Anyone not in attendance by 5pm will be automatically eliminated.

The tournament will begin at 6pm.

Players will be allowed two non-transferable bona-fide guests each and must provide their name to PDC security if requested. Please note that no one wearing football shirts of any kind or children under 11 years old will be admitted.

Rules & Dress Code
Darts Regulation Authority rules and regulations will be in place for this tournaments, including dress code of: no jeans, trainers, t-shirts or shorts etc. Players are required to wear dark trousers, collared shirts and black shoes.

Format
Best of seven legs up to and including the quarter-finals. Once there are only four players remaining, the tournament ends.

The player on the left of the draw will throw first for the bull to determine who throws first in legs one, three, five and seven and nine if required.

All games will be straight start and finish on a double. The bull will count as double 25 and the bust rule will apply.

Qualification
Four players will qualify for the Grand Slam of Darts at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall from November 13 to 21 2010. Each of the Qualifiers must be available to play on these dates.
