International Recognition For PDC

THE Professional Darts Corporation have received a prestigious listing in the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 100 for the last two years.

The continued growth of the PDC saw it ranked 52nd in the top 100 UK private companies with international sales growth over a 24-month period of 71.96 percent.

Televised events staged by the PDC are sold internationally as part of live broadcast agreements and highlights packages, along with other international business conducted during the period.

PDC Chairman Barry Hearn and Chief Executive Matthew Porter were invited to to an awards dinner held at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London, where they were presented with a framed memento of the achievement.

"In recent years, we have sought to expand the PDC's international development in terms of both participation in competitive events and the broadcasting of our major televised events," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

"This award is a recognition by an independent body of the progress we have made in those areas, and we hope to continue that development in the coming years."

The International Track 100 awards are researched and compiled by Fast Track and published in the Sunday Times, in association with HSBC and Grant Thornton UK LLP.
