ENTRIES are now open for the Speedy Qualifiers for the Speedy Services UK Open, which will see 32 amateur players qualify to compete in the televised finals in Bolton in June.
The Speedy Services UK Open will be held from June 7-10 in the Premier Suite, De Vere Whites, Bolton, and features the leading 96 professionals following eight Qualifying events joined by 32 Speedy Qualifiers and 32 Rileys Qualifiers.
Speedy Services will be staging seven Qualifiers across the UK in April and May to determine their 32 Qualfiers for the tournament.
Four players will win through at each of the six public events to be held in Speedy stores in Brighton, Dartford, Inverness, Leeds, Stoke and Cardiff in May.
A final eight players will come through a special event to be held in Haydock exclusively for Speedy employees.
The series of Qualifying events is being supported by Mark Webster, a semi-finalist in last year's UK Open who is an official ambassador for Speedy Services at this year's event.
"We can't wait for the qualifiers to begin!" said Speedy Group Marketing Director Steve McIntyre.
"We will be supported by Mark, who will be at our qualifiers offering tips to the players, and we really want as many people to enter as possible."

At each event, the Qualifier will be staged in two parts; firstly players will throw 15 darts to achieve a cumulative score, before the players with the eight highest scores compete in four knockout games to determine the players who progress to play in Bolton.
The Speedy Services UK Open Qualifiers will be held on the following dates:

Thursday April 12 - Leeds

Thursday April 19 - Cardiff
