THE Cash Converters Players Championship will be held from November 30-December 2 2012 in Minehead at the Butlins resort.

The £250,000 tournament - featuring the top 32 players from the final ProTour Order of Merit in November - will be split across three days in 2012 and screened live on ITV4.

The Cash Converters Players Championship will take place in the Skyline Pavilion, as top-class darts returns to the south-west of England.

The tournament was won last December by Kevin Painter, who defeated Mark Webster in the final to claim the first major title of his career, and has previously seen Phil Taylor and Paul Nicholson claim the trophy since being introduced in 2009.

Other stars battling across 32 qualifying events this year include World Champion Adrian Lewis, Dutch favourite Raymond van Barneveld, reigning Premier League Darts champion Gary Anderson, world number three James Wade and Australian star Simon Whitlock.

Taunton-based Justin Pipe - who has moved up to 20th in the world this year - is also set to represent Somerset in the tournament, with Scottish-born Anderson also based in the south-west.

The tournament will begin on Friday afternoon, with the first round spread across two sessions on the opening day before the second round takes place across two sessions on Saturday.

Sunday will see the quarter-finals held in the afternoon before the last four return on Sunday evening to contest the semi-finals and final.

Packages for the Cash Converters Players Championship weekend start from £129pp to include three nights' accommodation, tickets for the duration of the tournament plus all live entertainment and access to the majority of resort facilities such as Splash Waterworld, fun fair and most sports facilities.

Packages were available for a Priority Sales period on Monday April 2 & Tuesday April 3 for LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscribers (as at midnight on Sunday March 18 2012).

Packages were released on General Sale on Wednesday April 4.

Tickets are only available as part of the weekend packages, and all guests must be aged 18 or over.

All Deluxe and Gold packages include Premium Floor Seating for the Cash Converters Players Championship. Premium Floor Seating for residents with other packages is an additional £26pp, with a limited number of seats available.

A £35 deposit person is required for bookings, with the full amount to be paid eight weeks before the start of the break.
